Inspiration
We believe there is a correlating between the music you listen to and the art you like. In this project, we are using the power of machine learning to find that correlation for us. This project will allow you to put on a song and sit back while our site shows you a slide show of famous and obscure artwork that will match the song you are listening to.
What it does
It uses 3 categories to narrow down a database of artwork into works that will match the song you are listening to. The categories include year, style of artwork, and mood of artwork.
We take the year the song was recorded and show you artwork from a similar time period.
We use machine learning to find the style of the album cover corresponding to the song and we show you artworks in that same style. The styles include realistic, semi-realistic, or abstract.
We use the allmusic.com database to find the energy level of songs and we only show you artwork that matches that mood.
