Inspiration - In-country like India, the majority of the population is dependent on agriculture for their livelihood. Many new technologies, such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning, are being implemented into agriculture so that it is easier for farmers to grow and maximize their yield. In Recent times of Pandemic the need for Healthcare to adopt Technology to work efficiently has encountered . The Project is based on the Idea of Addressing real-life problems in the Agricultural sector. In this Project, we will Design web applications for the Prediction of some of the common problems and issues faced in the Agricultural sector by the use of Data Analysis and Machine learning.
What it does - Our proposed system is an application which predicts name of the crop. Name of the crop is determined by several features like temperature, humidity, rainfall, other soil nutrients and pH etc. Once the required fields are entered , the crop name is displayed. Our model also has voice backup which recites the entered data is ideal or not and recites the displayed the crop name.
How we built it - Earlier, crop cultivation was undertaken on the basis of farmers’ hands-on expertise. However, climate change has begun to affect crop yields badly. Consequently, farmers are unable to choose the right crops based on soil and environmental factors, and the process of manually predicting the choice of the right crop/s of land has, more often than not, resulted in failure. Accurate crop prediction results in increased crop production. This is where machine learning playing a crucial role in the area of crop prediction. Crop prediction depends on the soil, geographic and climatic attributes. Our Model has farmer friendly Options which takes few dataset of the land/soil as input & results in the type of the crop that can be grown on the land . This Project is purely based on Deep Learning & Machine Learning , It does not require any physical labor . We need not perform basic Soil tests to check which type of crop is appropriate as our model can give the Correct & Sensible Result based on the dataset & Inputs .
