Inspiration

Food waste has been an alarming problem for decades. But it has only gotten worse and worse with over 180 billion pounds of food being wasted every year. So much wasted food comes from farms, so how could we make a solution to reduce food waste so that farmers can sell more of their food to customers who are actually interested?

What it does

Cropshare is a website that allows farmers to upload produce so that local customers using the app near them can see what they have to sell.
