Inspiration

India has 600 million farmers but most lack access to expert agricultural advice, government scheme information, and legal rights knowledge. Language barriers make it worse. We built CropAdvisor AI to solve all of this in one place.

What it does

CropAdvisor AI is a complete farming assistant powered by ASI:One API that gives Indian farmers:

Real-time farm analysis using live weather, soil and market data
Personal assistant for pest control with both chemical and desi nuskhe (organic home remedies)
Government financial schemes guidance (PM-KISAN, KCC loans, crop insurance)
Legal rights information (MSP rights, land rights, where to sell crops)
Support in 9 Indian languages (Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali)

How we built it

ASI:One API for intelligent reasoning across multiple data sources
OpenWeatherMap API for real-time weather data
Agromonitoring API for soil conditions
Python Flask for backend
HTML, CSS, JavaScript for frontend

Challenges

Making ASI:One respond in specific regional languages consistently and fetching real-time data from multiple APIs simultaneously.

How to use ASI:One's multi-step reasoning to combine live data from multiple sources into hyper-specific farming advice tailored to each farmer's exact location and conditions.
