Inspiration

Our inspiration for Crop Fix stemmed from a desire to revolutionize the way farmers address crop issues. We recognized the need for a convenient and efficient solution that could harness technology to assist farmers in diagnosing and solving problems in their fields quickly.

What it does

Crop Fix is a mobile application that allows farmers to snap a picture of any crop trouble they encounter. The app then utilizes advanced image recognition technology and connects the user with farming experts who can provide tailored solutions to address the issue. It serves as a virtual plant doctor, providing rapid assistance to farmers, ultimately improving crop yields and reducing losses.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we faced was fine-tuning the image recognition algorithms to accurately identify different types of crop issues under varying conditions. Additionally, integrating real-time communication features between users and experts while ensuring data security posed another significant challenge.
