Inspiration
Inspired by several interdisciplinary people (within and out of our team) we have critically thought about challenges that adress the critical infrastructure (such as processing persoal data in an hospital, processing of telecom data) and digital privacy (privacy by design approach and more) during CoVid-19.
What it does
It is a position paper on critical infrastructure and digital privacy during the Covid-19 pandemic.
How I built it
Based on several team discussion and follow-ups on an individual basis we settled on a structure of the position paper that was written with a collaboration SW tool.
Challenges I ran into
The main challanges were to transform the principles of privacy onto the scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic and to keep a tight time-schedule besides interesting discussion.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are proud that we were able to integrate a lot of different perspectives into the positon paper
What I learned
How to work together in an interdisciplinary way, with new tools of collaboration (Hack MD, prezzi video, etc.) Everyone is astonshed that we have
What's next for Critical Infrastructure and Digital Privacy within Covid-19
Conduct an empirical study based on the scenario of Nissenbaum’s contextual integrity thesis to understand if privacy was still preserved in this context Establish connections with partners Legal restrictions (according the statement of EDPB) in opposition to Nissenbaum’s theory
