Inspiration

We believe in the strength and value of the countless medical psychologists and social workers across the globe who are supporting the medical teams in the Covid-19 crisis. They are the ones on the side lines, and in the pitstops helping their medical colleagues stay in shape during and after this crisis marathon. It is our mission to empower these support teams through a global online psycho social expert center. Where the psycho social support teams can exchange information, this information can be researched by scientists and best practices and other finding can be shared. This will save the support teams time in setting up the right support infrastructure for their medical teams and they have the global knowledge at their disposal to do a better job every day and be ready for the next crisis. Although there is not be an exchange of individual patient information the access will be limited and the expert center will only be accessible after validation.

What it does

CRISUP is a knowledge platform to enable the support infrastructure in the medical field. Sharing information like best practices, protocols, E-learnings and other allows the support infrastructure to facilitate their teams with the appropriate information and the right time, while not having to “reinvent the wheel”. By this they can spend their time increasingly valuable, instead of drawing up document and processes that already exists across the industry and have been proven useful.

How we built it

Start with drawing upon initial needs, using pragmatic sketching & short feedback loops; Set up initial design in visualizations; Draw out intended process flows Set up assets in AdobeXD Design separate pages Implement process flow to establish prototype v.1

Challenges we ran into

Verification of the need: Actively checking in on media channels and verifying with target group Access to target group: Setting up direct communication with people in the support infrastructure Time: using technology that is already out in the field Information accessibility: Having a close relationship, discussing the sharability of types of information and using what has been already communicated Privacy: Focussing on the support infrastructure and supporting documentation (not on individual client cases)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Actively building relationships across the medical field, drilling down on the underlying need for the support infrastructure Building a program to enable individuals to really focus on what they consider valuable in their profession Setting up a concept to be verified with the market

What we learned

Information is not actively shared Processes are often reinvented UI should be basic, focus on information that is most relevant for user

What's next for CRISUP

Finish research & validation; Create initial wireframes; Verify approach with market; Onboard key users of support infrastructure groups; Start prototype; Design & build (incl. Tool selection); Verification & test with panel; Launch; Onboard support infrastructure groups; Set up promotion program to facilitate optimal adoption.
