In light of recent events such as Hurricane Harvey and Irma, the amount of damage has been astronomical. Assessing damage is one of the most difficult things to do after a disaster for several reasons: -It is hard to send officials to go and survey areas if there are obstacles -There is a lot of land to cover and not enough people -An official would have to come survey the area and then send the proper team to take care of the respective situation

What it does

Our app essentially allows people in the community to report various incidents and where it occurred. It is similar to how Waze crowdsources traffic data where as our app is used to report incidents.

How we built it

We built a cross platform react native app with our database spun up in Hasura. We also have a web app to visualize the data and see it as a government official. The web app has HTML pages and a node server that is deployed on heroku.
