Generating Evacuation Route

Problem: In urban areas, crimes or threats can occur unexpectedly, and it’s often hard to react quickly enough, especially in situations like active shooters, natural disasters, or large-scale emergencies. People often don’t know how to get to safety or evacuate efficiently, and traditional methods of monitoring crime (like police reports or manual crime mapping) are too slow and passive.

Solution: CrimeWatch, an AI-powered system, that uses Agentic Intelligence to monitor local events like crimes and threats and provides real-time recommendations for evacuation routes to safe zones.

Implementation: Used Google ADK and Gemini to build agents capable of reasoning optimal evacuation routes given safe zones, threats and their locations. App was built using Expo Go with React Native, python for the backend, and data was scraped using NewsAPI, local police feeds, and social media.
