Inspiration

The increasing crime rate makes it hard for the government to track and search the details.

What it does

So the idea behind this project is a portal through which users can give a tip or convey about the crime scene activity. I have added an anonymous way for the user where they don't need to provide their details. after verifying the details submitted by the user, details will be forwarded to authorities.

How we built it

I have added a new catcher API to show trending news articles to the users. The project is built by using the Django framework as the Backend and HTML, Tailwind CSS, and JS as Frontend.

Challenges we ran into

I have faced the main problem which was related to tailwind and its configurations. But I learned a lot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I have successfully integrated API and successful configuration of tailwind CSS. And the portal which is based on my own idea

What's next for Crime Scene Reporting Portal

I will use Blockchain technology to make its security more powerful and further we can have this as an official portal also.
