Injustice happening to ethnic and backward classes & Passion towards Blockchain
What it does
Get complaint based on a incident from the user and store the details of the complaint from the user in a blockchain network in a cost effective manner and practically feasible fashion.
How we built it
Version 1
At the first version of project we used bigchainDB for hashing, storing and retrieving data in a decentralized manner, which is pretty much simple.
Version 2
We changed the blockchain infrastructure to Ethereum and unfortunately the gas fee per transaction is pretty much high.
Version 3
We are currently changing the blockchain infrastructure to XDC-XinFin Network, A blockchain network that adapts the architecture of Ethereum with lower gas fee per transaction.
Challenges we ran into
The major challenges we ran into while developing the projects are to get connectivity code from XDC-XinFin Network whereas Ethereum codes are openly available and easily exploitable. And the other major challenge we ran into is to deploy the smart contract for and edit JSON files based on the XDC-XinFin Architecture
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud about the thing that we are actually trying to evolve with the current generation technologies and drifting and exploring the untouched Blockchain Architectures.
We were selected as the 7th Best project for hackathon using BigChainDB held at PSG Itech Coimbatore among several projects
We were selected as the 6th Best project for hackathon held at PLI Blockathon held at Sathyabama University Chennai among 900 projects Nationwide.
What we learned
We are currently learning how to connect our projects to a specific architecture like XDC and striving to learn new things and stuffs
What's next for Crime Reporting Portal - Decentralized
Hoping we will complete the prototype of crime reporting portal using XDC network and incorporate Machine Learning algorithms to validate stuffs.
