Inspiration

In a corporate dominated workforce, it can be hard to keep morale high while working, especially if it seems easy for others to work and difficult for you to work. With the Procore challenge in mind, I set out to design a mobile app centered around workplace morale.

What it does

CrewNotes is designed around short daily diaries, called "Reports"; collecting and analyzing enough of these diaries across different departments in a workplace provides significant insight into the morale of a workplace across time. CrewNotes' charts showcase morale across the past month along with reports of good, bad and ugly incidents across the workplace.

How we built it

The front end was built using SwiftUI and then paired with Google Firebase for user authentication and database storage.

Challenges we ran into

Planning, backend issues, and charting were large hurdles!

I'm truly happy to have just overcome the hiccups of the early stages of the hackathon and come out with a functional product.

What's next for CrewNotes

The app can definitely be expanded and uploaded to the App Store, but a lot of work would be necessary before then!
