Inspiration
Just as crew members on rocket ships take an active role in their space mission, [Crew, Not Passengers] is an online platform for crowdsourced learning that enables students to take an active role in their own learning by creating material and exchanging ideas, study techniques, and more with their fellow classmates instead of waiting for a teacher to teach them.
What it does
It allows teachers to engage students in a different way!
How I built it
We collaborated on Qoom and coded in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
Network issues for communication—
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We came up with a fun working idea.
What We learned
For the majority of the team, this was the first web page we coded so that's been a great learning experience. We also learned how to structure and frame pitches.
For the more seasoned member of the team, it was surprising how many components and considerations were needed to make a well-designed quiz app with a countdown timer for each question that can take in and automatically adjust to however many questions input.
