Inspiration

The word "Creo" from Creo Engine is taken from the Latin word creo, which means 'create.' It also means 'believe' in Spanish. Creo Engine aims to create the best crypto gaming platform by providing users worldwide with high-quality video games with rich visuals and sound, an essential play-to-earn system, and a safe and secure marketplace for users to buy and sell digital assets utilizing a blockchain platform.

What it does

Creo Engine is a blockchain gaming platform dedicated to game developers worldwide to launch their games. Similar to how the Steam store distributes its library of games, we've named the platform 'CreoPlay.' Aside from CreoPlay, Creo Engine also serves as a game developer aiming to provide the best gaming experience for its players, and the games are developed through our in-house studio, 'Nomina Games.' We also created a special SDK for developers to utilize in onboarding their games to our platform. All games under Creo Engine Ecosystem are connected through the Assets Interoperability feature, meaning asset/NFT from one game can be moved and be used in other CreoPlay games.

How we built it

Creo Engine is built on the BSC Network. The games under the platform are in various networks

The challenge in creating our platform would be in finding the right person, especially on the development side

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were selected to join the TSBA (TokoCrypto Sembrani Blockchain Acceleration). We have won the first prize in Nextype X Huobi Find Future GameFi Hackathon and won an award for Best NFT Gaming Platform in The Crypto Expo Asia Singapore

What we learned

We learned that the gaming market in Asia is ripe, there are demands for high-quality blockchain games, and through interoperability, we can somehow preserve valuable in-game assets/NFT. We also learned that there are many web2.0 game developers keen to join the web3.0 platform but lack the knowledge, and there is also a significant issue in the onboarding process
