Inspiration

As Web3 applications and autonomous AI agents become more connected, one problem keeps becoming more important: how do you know whether the wallet, user, or agent you are interacting with can be trusted?

Transaction history alone does not provide enough context. We wanted to build an infrastructure layer that can analyze behavioral signals and turn them into actionable trust and risk intelligence.

That led us to build CredLayer — trust and security infrastructure for Web3 and AI agents.

How We Built It

CredLayer analyzes on-chain behavioral data and uses graph-based AI/ML models to generate trust and risk intelligence for wallets and agents. The results can be exposed through APIs and SDKs and can also be converted into verifiable on-chain attestations.

Our architecture combines:

  • On-chain behavioral analysis
  • AI/ML-based risk and reputation scoring
  • Trust scores and risk levels
  • Verifiable Solana attestations
  • Developer APIs and SDKs
  • Backend infrastructure for scoring and data processing
  • AI-agent trust and security infrastructure

We built the MVP with a focus on making the system useful for developers, DeFi protocols, wallets, and applications that need to make safer decisions about counterparties.

What We Learned

Building CredLayer taught us that trust infrastructure needs to combine AI intelligence with verifiability. A score is more useful when developers can understand where it comes from and independently verify important results.

We also learned the complexity of connecting AI models, backend services, blockchain infrastructure, and developer tooling into one end-to-end system.

Challenges

One of our biggest challenges was integrating the AI scoring layer with Solana infrastructure while keeping the system reliable and developer-friendly.

We also had to design the architecture so that AI-generated intelligence could move from off-chain analysis to verifiable on-chain credentials without making the integration unnecessarily complicated for developers.

What's Next

We are continuing to deploy and test the full production architecture, improve model accuracy, strengthen security, and expand CredLayer's developer infrastructure.

Our longer-term vision is to provide a trust layer for both Web3 applications and autonomous AI agents, enabling them to evaluate risk and trust before interacting with wallets, users, protocols, or other agents.
