Our inspiration was seeing one of our other friends making a password system, but we wanted to build off of that by making our own in a completely different way, and then making an actual product using the system.
What it does
This program asks you to either sign up or log in - after doing so, you will be given a few questions to answer. The answers to these questions will determine your credit score. After that, your score is saved. After entering in multiple scores, a graph will form which can show trends about your credit score.
How we built it
Using java's swing library, we made the UI for the project. We used FileIO to read and write to text files for storing data.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we ran into were getting all of our code to work together, and finding something reasonably doable while challenging ourselves at the same time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of being able to work together so flawlessly and have a good time at our first hackathon.
What we learned
More than learning actual code, we learned what the experience of doing a hackathon is.
What's next for Credit Score Visualizer
Next, we would like to implement more features such as a help screen, more customization, and maybe making the login system more advanced rather than just saving to a text file.
