Credit Card Fraud Detection

.The key objective is to identify suspicious events and report them to an analyst while letting normal transactions are automatically processed.

Inspiration

Many of the people in India work hard for their living. Those people sometimes due to their financial instability, carelessly sometimes giveaway all their card and bank details to a spam link and lose the amount which they had for a living so this made us inspire to create a system for those people to detect if the transaction is fraudulent or not.

What it does

This is a UI that does two operations:-

  1. Check if the website is Fraud
  2. Check if the transaction is Fraud

How we built it

We built this UI with a help of python and react js

Challenges we ran into

To make this possible we had to download some specific versions of the python package which took us time to complete.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have implemented a UI to Find out if the transaction is fraudulent or not.

What we learned

As Second Year CSE students, we got introduced to the branch of machine learning algorithms which we learned through ourselves.
