The project assumes that we are quant researchers in a new credit company, "50K Credit". We are tasked with the responsibility of coming up with a screening system that lets our employees know if an individual is eligible for the "new and exciting" credit card that our company is going to launch in July 2020. After much deliberation amongst all researchers, we come to the conclusion that any individual that earns more than $50K annually should be given the credit card. Our task is to use the decision tree algorithm to predict if an individual earns more than $50K annually and is therefore eligible for the new credit card.
