Inspiration The inspiration behind Credence comes from the growing demand for secure and accessible crypto staking solutions. We wanted to create a platform that not only allows users to earn rewards through staking but also ensures the highest level of security and reliability. Our goal was to simplify the staking process and make it accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of expertise in cryptocurrency.
What it does Credence is a crypto staking app that enables users to earn rewards by staking their cryptocurrency. The platform supports live test networks, such as Mumbai, allowing users to connect their MetaMask wallets, claim mCred tokens, and stake them to receive rewards. Users can swap accounts on the test network, refresh the page, and enjoy particle interactions while waiting for their rewards. After staking their mCred tokens for one minute, users receive an airdrop of Gains tokens. They can also unstake their mCred tokens at any time and refresh the page after each transaction to keep the platform updated.
How we built it We built Credence using a combination of blockchain technologies and web development tools. Our platform is integrated with MetaMask for wallet connectivity and supports the Mumbai test network. We used smart contracts to manage staking, token distribution, and reward mechanisms. The frontend is developed with modern web technologies to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience. Particle interactions and real-time updates are implemented to enhance the user experience while they wait for their rewards.
Challenges we ran into One of the major challenges we faced was ensuring the security and reliability of the staking process. We had to implement robust smart contracts and thorough testing to prevent vulnerabilities and protect user funds. Additionally, integrating MetaMask and supporting live test networks required careful planning and execution. Ensuring a smooth user experience with real-time updates and particle interactions also posed technical challenges that we had to overcome.
