✨ About the Project: CreatorCircle 💡 What Inspired Us CreatorCircle was born out of a real problem we noticed in colleges and creator communities — students with similar skills and interests often remain disconnected. While everyone was busy preparing for jobs, we saw many talented individuals wanting to create content, start something of their own, or collaborate — but they had no platform to find like-minded peers nearby.

We envisioned a platform where creators, developers, editors, designers, and innovators could connect, grow together, share ideas, and build projects. A place where inspiration meets opportunity.

🔧 How We Built It Frontend: Built using Bolt.al for a no-code/low-code interface, styled with modern UI patterns inspired by Instagram and LinkedIn.

Backend: Powered by Supabase — used for authentication, real-time databases, storage, and live subscriptions.

Features Implemented:

Login & signup with animations

Collaboration requests with profile matching

Real-time chat (with emoji and media support) for matched users

Post creation: text, image, and video (under 90 sec)

Comments, likes, and notifications

Profile page with saved posts and XP tracking

Leaderboard (XP-based ranking system)

Collaboration Rooms (public & private with live chat)

Trending Skills section based on user interests

Promotions tab for monetizing via client-submitted ads

🧠 What We Learned The importance of real-time interaction in social platforms

🚧 Challenges We Faced Building a real-time chat system that supports emojis, images, and pinning with correct Supabase relationships

Implementing clean UI/UX within Bolt without full code control

Making sure collaboration and feed updates are instant and reliable

Handling moderation for room names, posts, and chats

Designing the platform to scale for both creators and commercial clients (ads)

We’re just getting started, and with every update, we’re making it more powerful, collaborative, and rewarding for the creative community.
