Inspiration
As a creator myself running Blooming Stories, I saw the same problem everywhere. My friends who are YouTubers and TikTokers don't struggle with making videos — they struggle with everything after the video is made.
Writing 3 different titles to get clicks, writing an SEO description, finding viral tags, designing a thumbnail, and then remembering to post at 7 PM on YouTube, 8 PM on TikTok, and 9 PM on Instagram.
Most small creators in Pakistan end up paying 15,000 - 30,000 PKR/month to a manager just for this. They are paying to be a manager, not a creator. I wanted to build a co-pilot that does the boring work, so creators can focus on creating.
That's how CreatorPilot was born.
What it does CreatorPilot is an All-in-One AI Manager for Creators.
It replaces a full-time channel manager:
Secure Connect: Creators connect YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn via OAuth (no passwords). AI Analyze: Upload a video, our AI transcribes it and generates 3 viral titles, SEO description, and trending tags in 10 seconds. Smart Schedule: A calendar view to schedule content. The app auto-publishes at the best time. Team & Pro Studio: Premium users can add their editor/manager with roles. Pro users get AI Script Writer trained on their own channel style, AI Thumbnail Generator, and Copyright Risk Score. User Flow:
User \rightarrow Connect \rightarrow Upload \rightarrow AI_{generate} \rightarrow Calendar_{schedule} \rightarrow AutoPost \rightarrow Growth How we built it We built it as a modern, scalable SaaS.
Frontend: Next.js 14 (App Router), Tailwind CSS + Shadcn UI for a premium dark-mode dashboard, Framer Motion for animations, Recharts for analytics.
Backend: Supabase for Auth, Postgres Database, and Video Storage. Row Level Security for team roles.
AI Stack:
Transcription: OpenAI Whisper - to understand what the video is about. Generation: GPT-4o for titles, descriptions, and scripts. Our core algorithm for Virality: We defined a Viral Score to rank titles:
ViralScore = \alpha \cdot CTR_{predicted} + \beta \cdot Retention_{keyword} + \gamma \cdot Trend_{score} where  Challenges we faced
The Trust Problem: Our first idea was to ask for passwords. We learned no creator would trust us. We had to rebuild the entire auth to use official YouTube OAuth 2.0 flow. It was harder but it's the only professional way.
API Limits: TikTok and Instagram don't allow full auto-posting for every app. We solved this by starting with YouTube API as our MVP (which is open) and mocking the others for the demo, with a queue system for future approval.
AI Cost vs. Free Users: Storing 1 month of videos and generating AI videos is very expensive. Our first math showed we would lose money on free users:
Cost_{user} = Storage + (N_{videos} \times AI_{cost}) > Revenue_{free} = 0 We fixed it by limiting Free to 3 videos (3 days) and adding a hard cap on AI generation, creating a natural funnel to Premium.
- Copyright is Not 100%: We cannot guarantee 100% copyright detection. So we changed it from a "Copyright Checker" to a "Copyright Risk Score" — showing similarity percentage, not a false guarantee.
What we learned We learned that a good idea is 10% and execution + trust is 90%. Creators don't need another editing tool, they need time. The biggest lesson was to build for trust first — secure login, transparent AI, and not over-promising on copyright.
Next, we plan to launch with YouTube-only, get 100 real users, and then apply for TikTok and Instagram official API access.
Tagline: Create More. Manage Less.
