Inspiration
Independent creators run several paid brand deals at once, but the paperwork is scattered across contracts, briefs, invoices, payment screenshots and video exports. Deadlines slip, deals never get invoiced and overdue payments are forgotten. That is money left on the table, and it is a problem we see every day working with creators on brand partnerships.
What it does
Creator Brand Deal Desk is a UGREEN AI NAS Skill. A creator asks "where do my brand deals stand?" and gets one report built only from the files on their NAS:
- each brand's deliverables, deadline, fee and payment terms, with the source text quoted
- deals with no invoice, invoices that do not match the agreed fee, and invoices that are overdue with no payment evidence
- which deliverables have a matching finished video and which do not
After the creator approves, it creates one folder per brand, moves and tags the files, and saves the summary as a note. It never invents a fee, date or payment, and it never contacts brands.
How we built it
It is an orchestration Skill written to the Uliya Skill Development Standard with the official UGOS Skill Creation Tool. It delegates to four registered experts:
- file-agent inventories the deal folder (
ug-filesystemfind,file-workflowget-user-dir) - document-agent extracts contract and invoice fields and reconciles them (
ug-documentextract, reconcile) - photo-agent reads payment screenshots (
ug-photovision-ocr) - file-agent reads video media info to match deliverables (
ug-filemgrmediainfo) - After approval, file-agent files and tags (
ug-filesystemmkdir, cpmv;ug-filemgrtag-add-file) and knowledge-agent saves the note (ug-knowledgesave-text)
Each step uses only the real result of the step before it, and every write goes through approval.
Challenges we ran into
Keeping every figure traceable to a real document, and handling partial results: unreadable scans, missing fields and deals with no invoice all need honest, specific reporting rather than guesses.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One request joins contract terms, invoices, payment evidence and video files, which no single tool a creator uses today does, and the contracts never leave their own storage.
What we learned
Good orchestration is mostly about boundaries: what each expert owns, what counts as evidence, and when to stop and ask.
What's next
Testing on a real UGREEN AI NAS with real creator deal folders, then adding usage-rights expiry reminders so creators know when a brand's licence to their content ends.
