Inspiration
As we all know that Software's and technologies has made a very tedious impact on our present generation and everyone is getting involved in this tech domain. We all love some kind of application which might solves our daily life problem, like google map, food ordering applications. So all these real life problems has inspired me to think some projects that can be made as reference to the theme of this hackathon and it must solve some real-world problem too.
What it does
As the name suggests "recycler" means this responsive project will help the end-users to recycle their waste products. This application will suggest ideas along with pictures that can be done to recycle some waste products so it can be used further, a great example to discuss is Plastic Bags , we all know that how important is it to recycle and reuse plastic bags but many of us lacks with the idea that how and what to make of these plastics. This Web-app is designed to solve the real-world problem like to recycle non-biodegradable waste products and from indirect point of view this can be related to reduce the destruction happening across the globe, for example due to polythene seas, river, oceans are getting polluted and make the water toxic, and this results in destruction to many aquatic lives.
How we built it
We built it by making use of ReactJS, vanilla JavaScript, html, CSS and firebase.
Challenges we ran into
We had faced many challenges but few of them are listed here- 1st- We took part late in the hackathon(1week prior). 2nd- All of our teammates collaborated with each other virtually and it's hard to trust. 3rd- Due to some circumstances 2 of our team members had left us in the middle, but we managed to make it till here.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Inspire of many hurdles and difficulties we had made our project before the deadline. I'm proud of that we didn't leave this journey in between and we took all the difficulties as challenges.
What we learned
We had learned different concepts of JavaScript when making this project by sharing our knowledge with each other. And we also want to point out the most valuable learning we got through this hackathon is we learnt to trust each other and how to work as team and handling different errors.
What's next for Recycler
We'll enhance its current feature and even we are planning to add more feature to it. This project can be scaled to a very large extinct. Like using the power of we can implement some cool features to it.
