Modern media inspired our project, as we realized that stolen artwork remains a major issue among artists. We also realized that through aspects such as ChatGPT, which analyzes public art and reuses it without permission, we aren't able to protect small businesses/artists that rely on their work. Our project creates a digital copyright when exported that is specific to the user. This ensures that the user is protected, as our software organizes/automates file types as well as gives the user the choice to make their project public or private.
The issue with our program was that we ran into challenges with the wiring, from connecting the buttons to our ui, to the constant need to save the project. Since we are working as a group, we had to make sure our parts meshed together and didn't overlap or repeat. This was a major learning experience for our group, as this was our first hackathon and our first time working together in this type of environment. We hope to work more on the aspects of our CreativeFlow, such as branching to all users instead of prioritizing just artists.
