Inspiration

I was inspired from a post harvest losses I went through in 2017. This post harvest loss inspired me to bring a solution to it

What it does

We are providing readily available high quality, nutritious, affordable and well packaged cassava flour, garri and powder foofoo which are good for ones health, and provide agronomics practices training and providing market linkages for local farmers in Sierra Leone

How we built it

Through mobilisation of committed team members who are personate to solve community problems, and community involvement.

Challenges we ran into

Capital to scale up, access to loans, lack of transportation facilities, lack of processing and packaging facilities, lack of funding to scale up, lack of modern and appropriate processing and packaging equipment, etc

What we learned

We learned that with a committed group work we can achieve our goals even when there are many challenges

What's next for Creating a livelihood through sustainable agriculture

Our aim is to create employment especially among young people, reduce poverty in the society and empower food security
