Inspiration
I’ve always believed posting content is one of the most powerful ways to create opportunity for yourself, and live life on your own terms. But like many small creators on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X, I struggled with consistency (and quality)
My biggest blockage isn't ideas but it is workflow chaos. I had notes scattered across Notion, Apple Notes, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude. Instead of focusing on sharing my story and creating impact, I was wasting energy juggling tools.
I wanted one space that would help me capture ideas, turn them into polished content, and push them out into the world. Because I know this: the cost of not posting is missing out on opportunities that could change your life.
When I joined this hackathon, I had no iOS or publishing experience. But I wanted to challenge myself — to build something from scratch, to learn, and maybe even turn this into a real entrepreneurial path.
What it does
CreateMore is a Claude-powered content planner designed to make posting easier and more consistent for creators. It helps you:
- Capture and organize content ideas in one place.
- Generate hooks, scripts, captions, and hashtags with AI.
- Manage projects and structure content workflows.
- Access a library of proven viral hooks and strategies.
It’s a creative companion that reduces friction.
How we built it
I built CreateMore completely solo with the help of AI tools, from design to development to testing and publishing. Started with VibeCode boilerplate and used Cursor + Claude to ship the core features. Mobbin for Paywall inspiration! Learned how to navigate the App Store process, integrate RevenueCat subscriptions, and polish a full-stack app. Registered a sole proprietorship in South Korea just to get a developer license. That was an unexpected but empowering part of this project!
Challenges I ran into:
OMG there were literally so many challenges at each stage. Learning everything about app publishing from scratch, from App Store Connect quirks to privacy compliance.
- Handling RevenueCat subscription setup and Apple’s strict review process (lots of back-and-forth).
- Doing this alone meant wearing every hat, designer, engineer, tester, marketer, all at once, while posting content about the journey of building this app on YouTube and X.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- Going from no app publishing experience to shipping a real app on the App Store.
- Building a tool that I will personally use every day to streamline my content creation workflow and also help my creator / influencer friends!
- Setting up a sole proprietorship in Korea, turning this project into more than just a hackathon entry.
- Making the video updates on social media, on X, YouTube, instagram, tiktok, etc.
What I learned
- How much persistence matters. Every rejection, bug, or confusing form was a chance to figure things out. It was frustrating but rewarding to get it done.
- That creating alone doesn’t mean creating in isolation, the indie hacker and creator community was inspiring and motivating. I loved that people watching my building in public journey were constantly motivating me
- How to think like both a developer and an entrepreneur at the same time.
What's next for CreateMore: ai content planner
I want to:
- Expand the AI features to cover trend research, posting schedules, and analytics.
- Make the design prettier
