We like to constantly test ourselves while preparing for an interview. We used to do it manually, copy-pasting content into an LLM for it to generate a questionnaire, but that's way too manual and you don't get a good test interface.

ManifesTest creates a personalized test based on the content of your current page. It has a beautiful UI and long-term memory if you ever want to revisit a session. You can customize it with the ability to choose different methods like fill-in-the-blank, true or false, or MCQs. It's always free, on-device, and privacy-focused.

We ran into a challenge where we couldn't get storage to work. We had to rebuild the entire project overnight just to get the feature working. Luckily, this time we used a framework that tremendously improved our speed and options.

First and foremost, we are really proud of our idea because this is something that we are definitely going to use. We know that there are a lot of people out there who would love to have something like this, considering how convenient it is to just test yourself really quickly. It improves your preparation speed, focus, and a lot of other things. We are proud to just be of a little more help to ourselves, the community, and learners all around the world.

This has been such a learning lesson. We have learned how to work with extensions and obviously the manifest, and we have discovered a pretty interesting tool to use in our webpages: Chrome's built-in AI! We have learned a new framework, prompting: really, the list is endless.

Next, we would like to parse videos using a prompt API to get transcriptions, which we can then use to create tests based on videos. This is a really exciting feature, as there is a lot of really good educational content that is primarily video-based. We are focused on doing our utmost to get this to people and market this extension to get people to use it. We hope to improve it more as we get more feedback, which is what it's all about, isn't it?

Have been considering bunch of features as we have time to improve.

We would like to add video transcription processing and quiz generation. Which, prompt API allows us to do.

We are looking into the feasibility of something like this.
