Create a project on BIM360 Docs, add an image and be able to add folders from a template project

What it does

It creates new Projects on BIM 360 Docs. With the possibility to selecte a template project. From which folders are copied.

Challenges I ran into

Creating folders on Forge did not work as described within the documentation. Autodesk support helped to fix this issue.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are very proud of the whole app

What's next for - Create Project for BIM360 Docs

  • Adding the functionality of template projects to also copy (template files) within the template folders
  • Investigate if using project type instead of Contains('Template') to select the templates
  • Investigate if it is useful to connect the desktop app to some project database
