Create a bespoke OmniScript Using AgentForce

Inspiration

The initial spark came from observing the repetitive, time-consuming nature of configuring OmniScripts with DocGen. We saw SEs spending countless hours manually setting up an OmniScript, and troubleshooting dependencies. We were inspired to create a solution that would liberate them from these tedious tasks, allowing them to focus on high-value strategic work. We wanted to make DocGen more accessible and efficient.

What it does

Generate OmniScripts: Automatically create the necessary OmniScript structure and components. Configure DocGen: Properly set up the DocGen component within the OmniScript, including required input parameters and data mapper. Handle Dependencies: Ensure all dependencies and configurations needed for the DocGen component to function correctly are included.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered a limitation with auto-launched flows, which prevented direct document template creation from uploaded files. To overcome this, we're exploring alternative flow patterns and automated document template generation, streamlining the user workflow.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

1. Accelerated DocGen OmniScript development, significantly reducing build time for Sales Engineers (SEs) with limited OmniScript experience.
2. Streamlined the DocGen process, empowering SEs with rapid OmniScript creation capabilities, regardless of prior experience.
3. This scalability, combined with data-driven insights, empowers businesses to deliver personalized experiences, optimize workforce utilization, and achieve faster response times, ultimately driving enhanced customer loyalty and streamlined operations. ## What's next for Create a bespoke OmniScript Using AgentForce We're evolving the Agent to deliver a truly hands-off DocGen OmniScript experience. Users will simply upload a Word document template, and the Agent will handle all subsequent steps: template creation, token extraction and mapping, and data mapper configuration.
