Inspiration

On March 3rd, 2023, one of our teammates found herself in a tragic car accident. Stranded alone in the rain and the highway, she didn't know how to navigate the steps of resolving a car accident. With "Crash'd?", we hope to help young drivers learn to properly deal with automobile accidents in the future.

What it does

"Crash'd" navigates drivers who've been in accidents with determining the necessary insurance and contact information to properly deal with an accident. Insurance and emergency contact information can also be entered for easy access during an emergency.

How we built it

We used Android Studio and JavaScript to build this app.

Challenges we ran into

We had difficulty deciding an idea, determining the name, and fixing bugs in our code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we can help young drivers learn how to deal with future accidents.

What we learned

We learned how to use Android Studio and the difficulty of fixing simple code bugs :)

What's next for Crash'd?

We want to incorporate accident detection to send automatic messages to your phone to open the app.
