Crappr

Inspiration

The main thing that inspired us was an idea for an app that we had been talking about for a while. We thought this would be a great place to let it shine, or at least see the light of day. The idea was funny, but still thought its contributions would really be good. Amazon Riley also was our inspiration, he gave us direction at the beginning when we had no idea what we were doing.

What it does

Crappr allows users to locate the best restroom around them and rate them as well. This lets other people know what restrooms are typically looked at as good (clean, low traffic). Ideally, this rating system that we have now would expand to be more specific.

How I built it

Through the power of friendship! (And a lot of Googling).

Challenges I ran into

Not having any outside experience with any of this and having to learn everything from nothing.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Creating something from nothing. Looking back at where we started with not knowing anything at all, and building a website full stack is something we are super proud of.

What I learned

I can't even begin to describe all I have learned. For starters, the importance of communication and knowing where to go from one point to another. Needless to say all the skills that go into web development.
