Inspiration
Wanting to learn how to build a site.
What it does
The web page shows a decent amount of words used in captcha which are different each time the page is requested.
How I built it
I mostly used my laptop and paper for brainstorming.
Challenges I ran into
The initial idea was to use a human captcha solving service, but I had trouble implementing the API.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
A working final site, I had to adapt fast and got stuck a few times with the possibility of not having a working site, luckily I got a lot of help from Larry. He helped a lot with some of the more intermediate topics.
What I learned
The process of buying a domain and building a site from scratch.
What's next for CRAPTCHA
Keeping it running for the rest of the year. By the way, you will need a cors extension for your browser to prevent the mechanisms against cross site scripting to stop the images from loading.
