Challenges we ran into
Animations in tkinter are difficult... so we had to use a hacky workaround where we saved the animation and then re-opened it in a another window. Very poor code... but it works.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Arbitrary defined potential. It's cool to see the a graph update with the equation you type in (almost like Desmos etc.) Animated solution output for the potentials is the most interesting to see how the behaviour changes.
What's next for Crank-Nicholson, 1D Particle, User Defined Potential
Clean up the GUI to allow for more user input. Stability and truncation measure. Ideally fix the hacky animation Select the possibility of a non-trivial system. To think about tunnelling, spin, reflection and transmission.
