Inspiration

Our inspiration to create Crammer was based off the struggle to find the right study buddy for studying for Midterms coming up this week. We just wanted something that would allow us to find the right study group at the right time.

What it does

Our app basically creates individual user profiles and creates new study groups, then it compares the users preferences and allows the individual to choose from a bunch of cram sessions. After the cram session is selected a chat interface is created with all the members in the chat.

How we built it

We have not created a full functioning mobile application, since we are in comp sci 121. We created a replication of how the app will function through Java. And then we used Kony Visualizer to create a visual example of how our app will look like.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into the challenge of not having the full knowledge of creating an application. And then how to use Kony Visualizer.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The demo app from Kony, and the successful Java app. And our first hackathon.

What we learned

We learned how to use HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. And how to use the Kony Visualizer

What's next for Crammer

We want to actually implement the idea for crammer, first we make a web application version using Ruby on Rails, but then we will change it into a mobile application. We hope to bring more features into our app such as an location tracker fully functional chat interface.
