Inspiration: Solving a Creator's Headache

I noticed a common struggle: creators and handmade sellers love sharing on Instagram, but dread the hours it takes to rewrite that content into effective product listings for Etsy or Shopify. CraftSnap.ai was built to eliminate that tedious step. My goal is simple: help creators get their products to marketplaces faster and sell more.

How It Works: Smart AI for Smart Listings

CraftSnap.ai uses AI to turn Instagram posts into e-commerce listings:

1. Quick Scan: Paste public Instagram post URL. CraftSnap will use Apify to reliably fetch the caption, images, and hashtags.
2. AI Transformation: The core magic happens with Google's Gemini AI. I've developed specific prompts that tell the AI to:
   • Figure out the main language of post's caption.
   • Write a professional, SEO-friendly product title and description in that language.
   • Pull out key features and suggest product benefits (especially with image analysis using "AI Magic Pro").
   • Even suggest relevant Etsy-style tags.
3. Easy to Use: Copy what you need. Title Description, Tags separately, or download the full listing.

What I Learned:

• AI Needs Good Instructions: Getting Gemini to consistently output in the correct language (ignoring misleading hashtags) and follow specific formatting took a lot of prompt tweaking.

What's Next?

I'm focused on making CraftSnap.ai even more indispensable:

• Direct "send to Etsy/Shopify" features.
• Processing other SM content, and direct user's multimodal input.
• More advanced AI assistance for SEO and content variations.

I believe CraftSnap.ai can be a game-changer for busy creators, letting them focus more on creating and less on copywriting.
