Inspiration

We were inspired by the thrill of logic puzzles and games like Mastermind, where every guess brings you one step closer to unlocking the secret. We wanted to create a simple yet addictive challenge that tests reasoning, strategy, and intuition.

What it does

“Crack the Code!” is a fun logic-based game where players try to guess a randomly generated 4-digit secret code within a limited number of attempts. After each guess, players receive hints , such as how many digits are correct or in the right position , helping them inch closer to the solution.

How we built it

We built the project using Kiro, a platform that made it easy to design, prototype, and bring the logic puzzle to life. 1)The game logic was created to randomly generate a 4-digit code and compare it against player inputs. 2)Feedback (correct digit, correct position) is displayed instantly to guide the player. 3)Kiro’s tools helped us quickly structure the interface and manage user interaction with minimal setup.

Challenges we ran into

1)Implementing accurate feedback for partial matches. 2)Making sure the hint logic worked for every possible combination. 3)Designing an interface that’s both clean and intuitive within Kiro’s environment. 4)Testing for edge cases and validating input effectively.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

1)Built a complete, playable logic game in a short time. 2)Created a fun, brain-teasing experience that’s easy to pick up but hard to master.

What we learned

1)The importance of clear feedback loops in puzzle design. 2)Rapid prototyping and iterative testing in a time-constrained environment.

What's next for Crack the code!

1)Adding multiple difficulty levels and time challenges. 2)Integrating leaderboards and scoring systems. 3)Enhancing the interface with animations and sounds.
