Inspiration

We were inspired by any password generator to try to have our own salt.

What it does

In this project, we created a web application and extension to generate a secure password. Nowadays, security and privacy are a priority for every user. That's why we also added tips that can help you to have more information about how you can create a strong and secure password. The web application also has an algorithm that calculates the complexity and hardness of the password, that we designed entirely on our own.

How we built it

We built the web application and the extension with React and Tailwind CSS.

Challenges we faced

Initially, we were working on another challenge. So we had to change the project 7 hours in.

Achievements we are proud of

We are proud of our application, even though we missed the opportunity to showcase our work.

What we learned

How to make a real-time password generator and we learned about password security. We also learned how to make an extension to have the application offline.
