Inspiration
We know that hundreds, if not thousands, of people are bullied everyday. When I was bullied, I felt that there was no one to talk to and know one that I could have asked for help.
What it does
This website helps bully victims share their stories/experience, ask for/give/get help, and possibly convince bullies to stop bullying.
How we built it
We use google drawings and slideshow to map out the website. We then used codepen to execute the website but we are all beginner coders so we decided to make a weebly website for backup so we have something to present.
Challenges we ran into
- We don't know how to code very well.
- We had really little time to brainstorm, decide and sketch/plan basic outlines, and to finally execute our plan.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We were able to create our own website.
- The website could help a lot of people in the future.
- People can express themselves anonymously.
What we learned
- Coding isn't a walk in the park and we should appreciate all the websites we have access to.
What's next for CPV Bullying
We want to code so that we could see every post before it is posted to the public so that we could delete a hurtful comment because right now, bullies could get onto the website and comment hurtful things.
