CRISPR is a revolutionary gene-editing technology, but many people don’t fully understand what it is, how it works, or its ethical implications. This lack of understanding can lead to fear, misinformation, or even misuse of the technology, especially as it becomes more accessible in fields like medicine, agriculture, and biotechnology. My project addresses this gap by creating clear, engaging, and visually informative content to explain CRISPR to the general public. Using graphic design and simplified scientific explanations, the aim is to make complex concepts like gene editing, guide RNA, Cas9 enzyme, and DNA targeting more understandable. The solution is an educational awareness campaign in the form of digital posters or interactive infographics that explain how CRISPR works, its real-world applications (e.g., curing genetic diseases, improving crops), and its potential risks. By combining biotech knowledge with visual storytelling, the goal is to inform and inspire responsible curiosity in CRISPR technology.
