Inspiration

When a flight gets cancelled, someone still has to check the hotel dates, contact the pickup provider and remember who paid for the ride. We wanted travelers to be able to pick up that work in the AI chat they already use.

What it does

Say “Use CozyTrip to organize my trip.” The competition build imports a fictional Seattle–San Francisco itinerary with four bookings. Ask which dates to remember, review the times, and choose which reminders your AI should add to your calendar.

Simulate a flight cancellation and CozyTrip shows which bookings are affected. The traveler can review a USD 9.90 assistance fee and approve checkout in PayPal Sandbox. Once the server verifies capture and issues a receipt, CozyTrip delivers three drafts for the traveler to review and send to the relevant providers.

You can also ask “Who still owes for the airport pickup?” Maya prepaid the USD 180 ride. Leo and Ava each get one USD 60 checkout, and Maya owes zero. The money goes to the CozyTrip Team sandbox merchant. Each person's status follows their own verified transaction.

How we built it

CozyTrip is a remote MCP server built with TypeScript, Cloudflare Workers and D1. MCP Apps cards put the next action beside the trip or receipt. Workers AI helps draft requests using recorded booking facts, with a template available if the model can't produce a usable draft. The host's calendar tool writes approved reminders and returns event IDs.

PayPal JS SDK v6 renders the service checkout button on compatible hosts. A hosted payment service creates and captures PayPal Orders v2 Sandbox orders and verifies webhook signatures. A traveler can close PayPal and ask “Check my payment” in the same conversation. Retries reuse the existing order.

What we verified

In Cursor we completed a USD 9.90 sandbox purchase, retrieved the verified receipt and opened all three prepared drafts. We also completed both USD 60 checkouts and saw the split card update to Leo paid, Ava paid and Maya owing zero. For the calendar path, we tested one sample event, checked its receipt and verified duplicate prevention.

Try it

Follow the Cursor setup and judge instructions for the hosted MCP server. Use Judge A to view the verified drafts and paid shares without a buyer login. Use Judge B or C to try importing a sample trip and previewing reminders. A new checkout uses PayPal Sandbox test money.

What's next

We'd like travelers to be able to import their own bookings with consent. This competition version uses sample travel data.
