Inspiration
The inspiration of this project came about through the theme of this event. The wild west!
What it does
This program will respond, verbally, to your commands. It will also do as it is told. It uses an easy-to-use GUI with a text box.
How we built it
This program was build using Gradle, Java, JavaFX, and ElevenLabs AI Generated voices.
Challenges we ran into
One challenge was simply the setup of gradle- that being- assuring each project member could use it without issues.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have accomplished the appropriate and correct playing of sounds along with the several tasks the assistant is capable of accomplishing.
What we learned
We learned a lot about how JavaFX works. Accordingly, we also learned about the use of audio files in Java.
What's next for Cowboy Voice Assistant
Cowboy Voice Assistant's future possibilities are endless. New capabilities can be added of unlimited variety.
