Our goal is to supply COVID-19 statistics in a concise and specific manner. A simple click on the map will tell you the new cases, total cases, hospitalizations, increase in hospitalizations, percentage fully vaccinated and a unique score towards herd immunity for each state. For this score, we have decided to use an 80% vaccination rate as herd immune based on the approximate herd immunity percent for polio. We acknowledge that the COVID-19 herd immunity percent is unknown and will likely differ, but this can still be used as an approximation and as a score for relativity among states. To develop the front-end of our web app, we used HTML and CSS. For our back-end data parsing and general development we mainly used Flask. Covid Case Data is sourced from the New York Times and Vaccination Data is sourced from Our World in Data.

Displays a map of the United States, clicking on a state shows the most recent COVID-19 data for that state.
