Inspiration
We were inspired by some of the simple covid tracking data that helps to encourage social distancing by showing the extremes of uncontrolled spread, but one that allows the user to project for a certain date.

Using exponential growth predicts number of Covid cases on a given day

Django and Python
Challenges I ran into
Our Django was acting very strange and we could just not get it to work so that's why we did command line. Additionally, we had to scrap our original idea because the formula was not accurate.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Leaning Django!
What I learned
Django is fun, but difficult and it is actually really easy to learn.
What's next for COVIDTracker
Getting it to work in Django and predict other things such as positive cases and deaths!
