Covid-19 is still a problem and we’re all the solution to it #gocorona

What it does

Covidement is a platform working as a great stand between vaccine distributors and beneficiaries. It is basically a website where a beneficiary can book an appointment for a vacant day with a proper form asking for the priority level and their unique identity i.e., Aadhaar number and other details. The details then gets stored to our database which can be accesses by the vaccine distributors through the login page where the list of beneficiaries will keep updating. Thus without any mass herd gathering and disturbances, we'll be able to vaccinate each and every added beneficiary in an organised manner.

How we built it

Tech stack included in our web project is divided into two major section:

Front End: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Ajax and Bootstrap
Back End: PHP, MySQL, SMTP (integration)

Challenges we ran into

Major challenge we ran into was to validate the beneficiaries to avoid entries overflows by adding the criteria for a unique government identity number and the SMTP mail service which will be more finely be converted into an SMS service soon.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building the project almost to the verge within 48hours with a proper front-end and back-end implementation is a satisfactory accomplishment for our team. Also, if the idea is promoted, we would love to advance this and put it working on ground with proper authentication to fulfill the desired aim of proper vaccination as soon as possible.

What we learned

First and foremost, in these times, working from different places on a single project properly and so nicely i.e., in a proper structured manner and handling responsibility keeping time constraints and quality in mind is something every team member have learnt while building this amazing hack. Also, while deciding ideas, we learnt appreciating and keenly listening & analysing to everyone's concept of idea as one mind can think for an idea based on its own perspective but more opinions helps for sure in deciding the pros and cons of it.

What's next for COVIDEMENT

Investors and Collaborators can join us to help and achieve the aim. Covidement will further be advanced with few more features for a better functioning and regulating a proper implementation with authenticity.
