My Inspiration for this project was our current situation in COVID-19, and how we could spread useful information on it
What it does
CovidBot lets the user request the statistics of the covid cases of a certain country
How I built it
I built it using Twilio's API in Python.
Challenges I ran into
I had trouble with getting the messages sent from the user to be recognized
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud of creating a bot capable of responding to messages sent by a user
What I learned
I learned how Twilio works, and how to use it. I also learned more about Python and how to host a web server using ngrok.
What's next for CovidBot
More precise location data such as states, cities, zip code, etc.
