Covid19 Tracker

Inspiration

The world is facing one of the worst epidemics, the outbreak of COVID-19, you all are aware of that. Our parents and old peoples who are not much familiar with technology find lots of problem in searching covid19 cases. They do not know much about technology but they are good with figure. So we think of making an application which shows all the recovered cases, all cases, and also death happened by covid19.

What it does

Our covid19 tracker app will search all the cases, recovered cases and deaths happen due to coivd19. It will show all the data from different cities of India in numeric form.

How we built it

We built it using android studio with java and we fetch the data from third party(URL- https://api.covid19india.org/state_district_wise.json).

Challenges we ran into

The challenge we face during making this app is to connect the volley library(Volley excels at RPC-type operations used to populate a UI, such as fetching a page of search results as structured data. It integrates easily with any protocol and comes out of the box with support for raw strings, images, and JSON. )

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we made this application all by ourself and managed to make this application within time. All the team members Vanshika A, Shraddha Singh, and me work without any conflict and did the work successfully.

What we learned

We are introduced to volley library because of this project and its really interesting to learn this library and we can do lots of work by this volley library. And our team also worked collectively.

What's next for Covid19 Tracker

We want to fetch the data from all over the world like all the cases caused due to covid19 and make this app globally helpful and will also add some instructions to know about how much chances a particular person have, to be covid patient based on some of his infornmation. It will done by chatbot.
