COVID19 is a global pandemic and I observed internet is full of false or half baked information creating panic in the people. I also saw how health agencies are struggling to maintain their support channels with so much of traffic from worried public.

What it does

It's a digital assistant that can be added to any website, mobile app or channels like whatsapp, facebook messenger etc. It keeps tracks of latest stats, basic diagnosis, symptoms, prevention tips and other 100+ common questions sources from credited sources like WHO, CDC and national govt. health sites.

How I built it

This digital assistant has 2 aspects. A digital assistant and an analytics dashboard to monitor real time data. The assistant part is built using Oracle Digital Assistant platform, ionic and angular. Analytics is built using angular, material design and google firebase

Challenges I ran into

Find up to date information on stats, and so many types of questions people want to get answer for was very challenging in a such a rapidly evolving situation.

What I learned

We learned a great deal of cateogrization of variety of questions to train our model, learned how changing the user experience improved the usability of the bot and cut the response site.

Integration with incident management systems like Zendesk, Salesforce, Oracle Service Cloud
