Covid19 Case Management and Messaging Network

The network allows for facilities to submit cases and messages on the network. The network can export the cases in a structured format to be used for deep learning and other analytics.

Inspiration

The problem with the current systems in place is there are limited means of sharing covid information among facilities. There is limited self-testing, limited ways to report cases, overall the only reliable source is via excel files that are being updated every couple hours. There are multiple excel files of data with different formats and updating the data is manual and time consuming. There is a lack of visibility into submitted cases by region and facilities available by region.

What it does

The Covid19 Case and Messaging Network allows for facilities to communicate net new cases in real-time in addition to message facilities and other organizations in the value chain directly for updates.

How I built it

The web app is built using React, Next.js, GraphQL and Postgres. The distributed network is built using the Corda Blockchain protocol. The Deep Learning Notebooks are using PyTorch and Fast.ai.

What's next for Covid19 Case Management and Messaging Network

It is an open-source side-project but if organizations find it useful I would be willing to further develop the platform.
