A website that allows citizens to register for the upcoming vaccination
How we built it
We used ruby on rails framework coupled with html, css, javascript, and ruby language.
Challenges we ran into
We wanted to create a news webpage on COVID-19 for our frontpage but we were unable to send GET requests to the respective news publishers.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we were able to create a website using an attractive theme.
What we learned
Both of us are relative beginners to building a website, so there was a lot for us to learn in using Ruby on Rails. We also learned new ways of using the Mac terminal in order to run our website.
What's next for covid-vaccination
We can connect our site to a database so that we can store and process information that has been put into our website by users
