Covid has really changed travel, wouldn't it be nice if there was once place where we could pick a location and get all the travel safety Information we needed
Inspiration: The inspiration behind the project was my love for traveling and also the importance of staying safe while traveling.
What it does: In the age of Coronavirus, traveling is hard and this questionnaire allows you to pick top travel destinations, receive tips and basic safety covid guidelines for that location.
How I built it: I am new to coding and only really worked with python through repl.it, I built the code on repl.it and used guidelines on google to help find codes to make the program run.
Challenges I ran into: I ran into issues with the code running properly, lots of times I received error messages or had the sentences getting mixed up once it ran.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: im proud that not only is this questionnaire fun but its also factual. All the info and tips were researched and are confirmed tips and Covid travel guidelines for the specific location. The last option is a general location but it actually gives the link to a website that will tell you all the guidelines for every country.
What I learned: I learned that coding can be difficult and frustrating but the final project is rewarding. I learned that with just a bit of code I could create something that could actually be helpful to the world. I learned that I want to do more and learn more code.
What's next for Covid Travel Safety: I would love to add on to the questionnaire and eventually have every location possible, a site that people would go to when planning their travels. A place that gives fun tips and safety tips.
